Nieuwe slimme TWN import module uitgerold

Taxonomic insights are constantly evolving. 

Species names and classifications are updated based on new research, including DNA analyses. 

For organisations that manage ecological data, this requires careful and consistent processing of naming changes within existing datasets. 

Dawaco BV is therefore introducing an updated TWN import feature within Dawaco Ecology. 

This enhancement enables changes to the TWN list to be processed automatically and in a controlled manner, whilst retaining historical data. Smart species mapping When the TAXA list is updated, existing and new species names are automatically linked. Historical records remain available under the original name, whilst the current name is automatically set as the preferred name. 

Where necessary, the administrator can refine this process to suit their own database structure.
